The SINAMICS G220 also integrates a new Clean Power technology. This reduces the harmonic level to less than 5%. No more line harmonic chokes or DC link chokes are required, which means the inverter consumes less energy, takes up much less space and makes engineering a lot easier.

Future-proof thanks to digitalization

G220 is the first SINAMICS frequency converter to be part of Siemens Xcelerator range, the digital transformation platform. It can be fully configured via web server or TIA Portal, but also with a digital twin in SINAMICS Startdrive. This allows you to test the drive before you have the physical hardware.

Furthermore, the G220 has an IIoT module, allowing it to integrate perfectly into cloud and edge applications. This way you reduce downtime and optimize availability.
