Coping with the volatility of the supply chain and dynamic demand of the business sets high requirements for information on the shopfloor. In the repetitive production environment of Inalfa Roof Systems, having real time insight in the performance of the production lines is key to fulfill the demand of the customer. Being a global company with 12 plants, collecting and processing the information from the lines is a complex operation. Combining different data sources and producing insightful data for the line and plant managers was achieved by using the Ometa platform. Dashboards and line boards were built as a basis for continuous improvement of the operations and providing transparency and standardized metrics.
