Production employees are facing an increasing complexity and workload in their daily activities. While the effectiveness of Digital Work Instructions (DWIs) in easing the burden and enhancing quality is evident, the time-consuming process of creating them hinders widespread implementation. Flanders Make introduces a user-friendly toolchain to streamline and automate this process. Our innovative toolchain seamlessly extracts instruction steps from 3D design files, automating the generation of visual content. It effortlessly integrates with commercial DWI platforms and Mixed Reality training environments. Drawing from the success story of Haelvoet, we showcase the real-world application of this toolchain, providing a firsthand account of its impact.
